Trip to Hat Yai by Bus from KL Sentral 2 Night and 3 Days... (Hubby's Birthday Celebration)

Every year for his birthday we'll go for outing or sometime we go for a candle light dinner only. Since past 2 years we didn't go anywhere hence this year i planned for a surprise birthday vacation on his birthday to Hat Yai.

I just wants to try travel by Bus just to experience the bus travel. I book tickets for 4 of us by online Book Here . Once book and pay, print the ticket confirmation, after that bring the print copy to get the tickets at the counter at TBS. Its recommended to take ticket from Suasana Edaran company. This is the only bus which is travelling from KL to Hat Yai, other buses stops at Dannok itself.

we are travelling from friday 8/12/17 - 11/12/17. On the day we prepare everything to move from house.
He still don't know where are heading to

Our bus at 9.30pm via headed early 1 hour before because we need to be at the boarding 30 mins early.
seriously tell the bus is very comfortable and nice. Equipped with plug-in and free wifi.

We reached at Bukit Kayu Hitam at 4.50am but have to wait to immigration open at 6am. Its took about nearly 1 1/2 hours to clear the malaysian immigration because of long queue. Not only Malaysian but Dannok immigration also very crowded

When you see this scary electric cable means you reach Thailand.

The very first advice i can give is don't trust any of car drivers or tourist guide who come and offer their help to you. Just ignore all of them and go for Tuk Tuk. Better price and value.

Our first thing at Hat Yai is having our lunch. Whoever doesn't like pork please ignore the road side stalls because all their foods are served with pork. Secondly is check in to our Hotel Room. We booked PB GRAND HOTEL. This hotel a bit far from Central but you may get Tuk Tuk from here. This room is really value for money. Very big with modern style and comfortable.

This Hotel is really nice

We take a rest for a while before heading to Floating Market. Klongha Floating Market is open at 5.00pm to 9pm. Unfortunately due to rainy day all the boats are off. Mostly you can get lots of foods and handcrafts and also dresses. For the first day night dinner we managed to get it from here

Second day we changed our hotel which is near to central which  is OUN Residence. This is very near to central. walking distance. Alisan Bus counter also very near.

Oun Residence

Second day lunch is at MCD opposite of central mall. Same building with lee garden plaza hotel. Mcd in Thailand is yummy the chicken is crunchy and tasty. Worth try. after that our tour started to songkla.
Our Tuk Tuk driver is very friendly. he guided us all the to songkla and drop at all the tourist spot.

Sleeping Buddha

Heading to Great Nag Serpent statue, the driver bring us to the place by ferry. fantastic experience. Instead of use road way the driver put effort to bring us by ferry. Kinda enjoying also.

The Great Nag Serpent Statue..

After this we went to samila beach and feed the monkeys on the road side. Seriously tell souvenirs and clothing a bit cheap at songkla beach (Samila) area compare to hat yai markets. After Samila Beach we went to eat at Songkla (Near to Samila Beach). Very tasty food with good vibes. But the foods tell you damn spicy yet the taste is there. Credit to driver as he the one brought us here. The aunt is can speak very good english which make us easy to communicate.

  1. After all again went to market to purchase few items at hat yai night market. Before forget the important 2 items at Thailand Mango Sticky rice and Coconut Ice-Cream. This Ice cream is must try in Thailand. Dont Miss Out.

Night we went for a foot massage. Don't worry you may find it everywhere just like Mushroom after rain. The only thing we couldn't manage to find a bakery shop so finally we decided to get a slice of Cake at Mc Cafe.

Finally this is his birthday cake..(but he happy)

Final Day, We decided to spend time at hat yai to purchase few items. Morning breakfast we find a good restaurant (Asian Style restaurant). The restaurant name is Daothiam just  opposite of odean supermarket main entrance. Good taste and value for money also.

Daothiam

After Shopping again food (hehehe) lunch is opposite of our hotel. I forgot the restaurant name but its located at opposite building of or hotel (just after 3 shops-at the end). This restaurant also value for money and good taste. We shopping again and rest for a while before take our return bus.

Overall this trip is so fantastic trip and enjoyable. If you love to shopping then you may visit hat yai but if you not interested in shopping hat yai is not your type. Here mostly you can do is shopping. i personally prefer the Krabi the most compare to Hat yai. Me and my husband more like to spend time and do beach activities the most.

Since this is our sudden plan so we decided to Hat yai. Just a try. Next trip might be Krabi..

Thank you so much for spending time to read this and i believe it could helps you..

Have a Nice Trip...

This Time i would like to write about my cooking passion.

so really wanted to try it and i do it in my way but the result is tip top.. (Thanks to ShielaKitchen)
I don't have step by step since first time i write... next entry would be with pictures (step by step)

Lets Start Collect all the ingredients:-
(A) Marinate
Cleaned Boneless Chicken  - 1/2 kg
Corn flour - 2 - 3 Tablespoon
All Purpose Flour (Kentucky all purpose Seasoned Flour) - 1 - 2 Tablespoon ( can replace with tpg beras)
Black Pepper Powder - 1 teaspoon (as per individual spicy need)
lil Salt

Other ingredients (Spicy Creamy Sauce) :-
Evaporated Milk - 1 cup
Condensed milk - 3 tablespoon
Minced Garlic - 6-7 ( i love garlic taste so if you don't cant reduce a bit)
Cili padi - 7 (based on your spicy need)
Curry Leaves - Chopped

Method
1. Marinate the boneless chicken at least about 30mins before deep fry.
2.Keep aside and filter the extra oil from chicken by using kitchen towel or tissue paper.
3.Heat a pan and add 3 tablespoon of butter. Allow butter to melt.
4. Now add garlic, curry leaves and cili padi. cook till it turn a light brownish colour.
5. After awhile add condensed and evaporated milk, mix it well.
6. At this stage, mix together with the fried chicken and wait till the chicken are nicely coated with the sauce.
7. place it in a plate and ready to serve...

Notes
*Don't over fry the chicken to avoid the chicken became keras.
